First Time :: Voting for the Top 32 Sexy Men of Anime :: Part [1]

My back hurts... =3=

Aha, well, whatever.

To tell you the truth, this isn't really my first time voting - it's my second. But this is the first time I start voting at Round 1. Last year, I only managed to start voting during the second or third round.

Oh, I should probably start by telling you what this thing is. Uhm...

Well, obviously, it's a battle. Hosted by the awesome podcast, AnimeAmerica, this is a battle between 32 hot, sexy men gathered especially to please them fangirls around the world. (That's a bit exaggerated, no?)

These men come from all different kinds of anime, but there's one thing they all share. And that is their ability to make countless of fangirls squeal, gush gallons and gallons of blood from their noses and go completely berserk just by the sight or voice of these lovely men.

I don't really know much history about them, since I just found out about them last year, thanks to the help of someone from a forum I visited.

So far, this year's battle has reached Round 4

Really sorry for not posting about this earlier. But you can still vote! I hope.

First Time :: Voice Acting!! :: Explanation [END]

If you haven’t checked the 1st and 2nd posts yet, maybe you should check them out before you read this.

If you HAVE, then …okay?
Well, basically, I had an opportunity to play a voice acting role in a play. At first, I really didn’t want to do it – at all. But then after a whole bunch of rehearsals and all that, it turned out to be fun and I was actually looking forward to it.

On the day of the event, I wasn’t all that nervous. But that all changed as soon as we were called up. Then, I felt like I was strapped on a lorry falling off a cliff with a bomb on countdown. Oh, the joy.

Though my hands were shaking and my knees were wobbly, I had no problem with the voice acting. That is, until I made a tiny slip-up and ended up chuckling. I regained myself shortly afterwards and the play went on without a hitch.

It was probably one of my favorite activities I did this year at school. It really did feel like I was part of the class; like everyone was getting along. We laughed, argued, complained, and worked together.(Eugh, so cheesy)

If there ever is something like this to happen again in the future, and we all have the opportunity to join, maybe, just maybe, I might do it once more.

Never really realized how I’m really enjoying my second year with these people…

First Time :: Voice Acting!! :: Part [1]

I’ve wanted to post this for so long now! Finally! Well, without further ado, I present you, MY FIRST TIME VOICE ACTING! (sorta)

Actually, this ain’t really the “first” time I’ve voice acted or dubbed. Last year I actually had to do the voice of this bird in a mini-play in front of the class, but that time, I couldn’t really say anything (I actually did say nothing), so that didn’t count.

This one, however, is on a totally different level!

We (the whole class) had to do a play on one of our historical heroes that we learned in History in front of the whole school, including the teachers. They said this was to, you know, sorta increase the patriotic-ness in students.

At first I got one of the main roles (I play a dude). I was pretty happy, cause I didn’t expect the teacher to pick me – being all self-awkward and not really all that good with History and all. But still, she picked me. Why? (because I’m freakin awesome!) Because she said my voice was loud enough.

After discussions and what not, they decided that the characters won’t be able to talk after all, because our school’s lack of microphones. So when they were deciding on who gets to be the voicer, some dude – or dudette – suggested the teacher that we should go with me.

See, they were not looking for normal voice actors, no. They were looking for voice actors who could do accents. My parents both have the said accent, so I’ve had a decent amount of exposure towards the accent. The teacher handed me this script with words that had been converted to their “accented” counterparts. I read it, and then just like that, the teacher had me do the main character’s voice.

We had a narrator and 3 voice actors, which are a friend of mine, my second cousin and me. I only had one role to play, while the others played the other characters. The problem was, the actor playing the character I’m voicing, has this complex about wanting to sound manly. My voice is already quite deep, what more do you want, man?! I mean, he ain’t even all that manly. (oh, but he has a not-bad body, thanks to his soccer training)

It was really cool when we all rehearsed together on the stage and behind the school – I really felt part of the class. I actually was having fun.

On the day of the performance (a week ago, I think), people were all dressed up in these awesome costumes and with the really cool props made by a really talented bunch of kids in the class.

My friend was really panicking – though she didn’t have a part in the play. It was like she was worrying for me. Meanwhile, I wore a hardcore poker face, and on the inside I actually felt like that too.

Until…

OMG! She's still alive?!

 Yeah, I'm still alive... (_  _"")

Really, really sorry for the whole bunch of delays! So many problems with the computer – and myself being lazy and all. Finally got my keyboard back! Yes, by the way, it was actually taken away by my father for like, 2-3 days, I think.

I’m really happy to have my old keyboard back. This thing is way better than that roll-up keyboard that just straight-out sucks. I mean, it’s good and all if you’re the type who travels a lot and/or like to use their own keyboards, but for me, it sucks.

Got two albums from this really awesome band, Fall Out Boys. You probably have heard of it, yes? Actually, I bought this for a friend of mine (*gasp* she has a friend?!). Lookie!

Musheeroom's (friend) birthday present! Yeah, my writing sorta sucks, but hey! I'm still learning!

I’m really great at choosing albums. *smirk* These songs in the album are really just the best. (I know cause I got to test the CDs before I wrap them. Ehe~

If you can, try checking out both albums, ‘From Under the Cork Tree’ and also ‘Infinity on High’. Love them!

I've never learned how to wrap a gift properly, so it kinda sucks a bit. ><

Made the wrapper myself! Haha, sure it’s a bit low-class, but it came from the heart! But I wish I did a better job; I didn’t do it in my best condition, and so it ended up like this – in the end, this is the best I could do at 2 in the morning. Really need to work on my wrapping skills! ><

Pictures!

Close up on a part of the present. I mainly wrote [Hey, Happy Birthday] and stuff. Sometimes, I add random sentences like [My writing really sucks] and if I mess up, I just take a red crayon and colour it up. That adds colour. Also, I don't know why the picture's orange. *^*

Really hope she likes it... =3=

Part 2 of the shopping trip is yet to be made – thanks to my mother really not wanting to send those damned vids to meh. Curses!

Oh, and here’s a completely new entry series
let’s call it that! cause it sounds cool :

That’s all for this post. Bye~

Shopping trip :: Part 1 ::

Distractions here, distractions there. I'm starting to think that I might never be able to write about what I actually want to write anytime soon.
/epic fail.

(Ps. I wrote this on Monday. I just forgot to post it )

Today was supposed to be the day I get to post all those little stories that's been piling up in my head for the past few days because I got a day off from *cough* skipped *cough* school. But then my mom asked me to help her with her shopping. On a MONDAY! I don't really get why she wasn't that freaked out about the fact that I didn't go to school today, but well, she wasn't.
So there!

The shopping trip wasnt really all that awesome, until

Finally!! A post!!

Claimbing.
WTF is claimbing!?!?!

See, this is why sometimes I just can’t understand what the teacher is talking about.

But nevermind that, I was just showing off my smartassed-ness to you guys. Yesterday (or was it the day before that?), during Science, we were learning about basic dynamics. She had us name activities using pushing and pulling force. Some dude went ahead and wrote down ‘climbing’ in the pushing category.

So I, being my oh-so-awesome self just had to fix that mistake made by that mere mortal. And I was all trying to point it out, and then the smartest girl in class (no, not me) was all, “Oh, that’s true!”

Oh yeah, that’s right. Respect meh.

Anyways, sorry for not posting for so long – I got distracted a lot. But no worries, I’ve been writing in MS Word, so I’ll post about 6 updates by this Wednesday.

Until then, please enjoy this post about the shopping-trip-that-I-was-forced-to-follow.

So many mini-posts!

Okay, so I've showered already. Now my head smells like oranges! Take that, world! Who's the ball of fuzz now? Huh, huh? [World: Still you...]
Oh, and sorry for the half-assed ending on the previous post. My dad just got back, and at that time, I still hadn't had a shower. *fail*

A--nyways!

Now that I think about it, I've just been spamming this blog with mini-posts that contain no real story. And at a regular basis, at that. (_ _")
 For example!

Collection of mini-posts that I've posted so far:
This one. (14/9) It was supposed to be 13/9 but I posted it somewhere during midnight. So...
This one. (14/9) [2] This one was posted later that day, after I got back from school.
This one. (15/9)
This one. (19/9)
I don't know if this counts, but here:
This one. (19/9) Originally, it was supposed to be a mini-post, but then it kinda expanded..?

That's like 71% of the entire blog!
What a sad excuse for a blogger. T^T
Maybe I'll add more to the list later on. But until then, bye! ^^

-END-

Wakey, wakey!

You know how in movies, the princess blinks and sits up on her bed and does some of those arm stretches as soon as the morning sun hits her face?  And how everything about her is just perfect - up to a point that even there aren't even those tiny beads of sand the sandman places in the corners of our eyes as we sleep?

Yeah, that so doesn't happen to me.
For me, I wake up realizing that I forgot to wash my face and brush my teeth before going to bed. I wake up, just to see that my pillows are now scattered across my bedroom floor. I wake up and look at the mirror just to see a ball of dark brown fuzz on the  top of my head - also known as my hair.

Oh, I seem to be the downfall of the female species. I'm sorry, all. You're just too dazzling and me, well, I'm just a hermit with a computer. Go on without me to the world of womanhood. *^*

So yeah, that's how I see myself: a reject from the female species.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to run along and take a bath to appear human again. Because the world would never accept me for the ball of fuzz that I am. *cries*

I'm thinking of writing more posts today since apparently, I "accidentally" skipped school today. But I blame the school and their fail-ness in planning activities for kids of different grades. Curse you, miscommunication-between-students-and-teachers-that-are-involved!

Anyways, gotta jet. I'll tell you later.
Bye!!

Home at last!!

Finally.
Home. At. Last.

Road trips are effing exhausting!! *A*
See, I just got back from visiting my aunt's house for my cousin's wedding a few hours ago. Let me tell you something about this newlywed couple...
They're just the sweetest yet most realistic couple I've seen yet. They're probably the only young couple in the real world I'm rooting for since... ever. Don't get me wrong! I love to see other people as a couple too (that sounded wrong..?) .  But this couple, I loved them from the start. Plus, I actually am related to them. So they are in a different category as the other couples in the real world that I also support.
For example!
I absolutely love ...uh... that actor and that other girl whats-her-face!
...
Hahah, just kidding! *sweatdrop*
I don't really have much interest in the acting/singing industry, so I don't know a lot of majorly famous couples. But sometimes, their love stories just happen to knock on my door, so it would be rude not to listen to them.
Like that couple, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. I think they're probably one of the sweetest - if not the sweetest - couple in Hollywood that I just found out about a few minutes ago on Google . They've been together for 50 whole years! And he's so sweet to her and she's just so- auhghudsgk >///<
Look, I'll just show you a few quotes from them:

::Paul said this when people asked why he never cheated on his wife, Joanne::
"Why fool around with a hamburger when you have a steak at home?"

::This one's a quote from Joanne::
"Sexiness wears thin after a while and beauty fades, but to be married to a man who makes you laugh every day, ah, now that's a real treat."

Oh! And then there's that Angelina Jolie X Brad Pitt couple too. I've bee loving them ever since I was a kid. That movie they acted together, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, had really forced me to want them to be together.
But I still think the Paul and Joanne couple was cuter...
Wait a minute!!
I forgot the reason why I wrote this in the first place! *facepalm*
Oh yeah, something about the road trip..?
Well, whatever. I just wanted to say that I'm finally back and that it's GREAT to be back!
Home Sweet Home <3.

I'll start posting about what happened tomorrow morning, after I get some rest.
It's 2 in the morning. *eye twitch*
I'm dead tired.
I'm goin' to bed now. Goodnight?
...

Thursday 15 September 2011

Quick update:

Ehm, so it's like this...
I'm just loving this thing and having fun writing, but unfortunately well, at least for me , I have to attend a cousin of mine's wedding and I can't connect to the internet for about 3 days. (There's no internet there, apparently.)
So, I think I'll be able to post on Monday, I guess..?  I have a whole bunch of things to write about, but I guess I'll just write it in MS Word and wait 'till I'm back home from the wedding.

Until then, bye~!

Oh, and please don't forget about me... I get lonely... ;^;

Procrastinating yet again!!

I want to start writing seriously pssht, yeah, riightt in this new blog.
BUT!!
But I keep wanting to put it off 'till later. And usually whenever that happens, "later" will probably end up being "never" as time goes by. Even I know this. And yet, I still don't have enough motivation to strike action. Why?!! T^T
Actually, I've written a post yesterday - yes, a real one *shock* - but then I had some trouble posting and it kept showing the "the page no longer exists" thing or something, and I copied and pasted it into MS Word.
Unfortunately, I saved it in my netbook and I'm just too lazy to transfer the file to my sister's computer (the one I'm using to post this because this computer loves me more than my netbook ever will *tears*). So, until A) I find a way to fix the bug in my netbook, or B) I get my lazy-ass self (I forgot to mention this, but I cuss occasionally, so, um, sorry?) to go and move the files from me netbook and into here so that I could post it.
Until then, please wait patiently, m'kays?
-END-

Wait for it... okay, NOW it ends.

Mini-intro-that-is-posted-because-I-am-too-lazy-to-fix-things

I'm having some troubles with this thing. =3=
Hi, I'm new here. Please treat me well.
I'll be posting about the things that happen in my life.
(Along with a few references to manga and/or anime )
I wanted to post something else, but unfortunately there was a problem with the whole save-preview-post thing. So I'll try to get it fixed... somehow.
Until then, this post would suffice. So, yeah... See you!
