Day 1: Draw a picture of yourself

Here's what I doodled:

Alright, so it's not a realistic portrait, but hey, it gives you a clue of what I look like. I used to have really long, wavy hair, but I cut it earlier this year as a symbol of letting go of what happened in the past - that I soon regret doing. So now, I have shoulder-length hair that's far more straighter than it had been last time. 


As you can see, my face is round, and my hair is tied into a ponytail - which is my usual hairdo (see, I'm no good at hair styling) when at home. I wear a hijab outside, though.

No Internet all day

The computer in my house is going whack. So's the Internet connection. 

So today, I mainly doodled, read and wrote my second Hetalia fanfic. (Not finished yet, though! ><) 

Here are the lazy sketches. I'm getting more used to the pen, so it looks better than my previous doodles.

Buon Compleanno, Lovino e Feliciano Vargas♥

I'm a bit sad that although today's Italy and Romano's birthday, I couldn't do much except a quick doodle. But here they are! 

Since I haven't been completely satisfied by my dismissal of International Women's Day with just a genderbent Shizuo Heiwajima and nothing else, I'd like to add to the list of genderbent chara doodles. So here it is, Fem!Italy:

For Romano, I wanted to draw a girl too, but failed miserably. Then I changed tactics and tried a chibi and ended up with a not-so-chibi-not-so-nonchibi-either kinda thing:

Not my best doodles, I know. Having an off day again, maybe? 
Also, I just love drawing Lovino - even if it looks bad, Lovino's really fun to draw. Look, this was what I made yesterday.

 I was experimenting with styles and thought why not give the big, unrestricted stroking a try. Obviously, it doesn't work with me, but at least I tried. *^*

Guys, look! I doodled Oncie in the SketchBookExpress app on the iPad yesterday. It's a bit messy and crappy. But whatever! It's a good try for me... I guess.

The eyes are a bit derpy, and the lines are so messy and disconnected. 
But at least I managed to do something to prove my love to him.

I was transferring my files from me sister's computer to my mother's new one, since she gave me permission to share the computer which, by the way, has the most awesomest keyboard in the house. 

Then I found an old [crappy] video I made for Fafrina last year and thought that why not try to upload it. So I went on YT and BAM! It uploaded. Yay!!

So I'm a little be embarrassed at how bad it is and how I was really proud when I finished it a few months back. But anyways, here it is..

Bah, it's 9 in the morning at the moment. I ate my breakfast and read another chapter of Perfect. FINALLY! They met! 

Anyways, before I go take a bath and start my day officially, I just want to post a couple of vids I took yesterday when I was drawing Kid. I find it interesting how I look like I know what I was doing even though I was clueless and just improvising.

They're a bit long since I couldn't time-lapse them in Windows Movie Maker because they weren't in supported files. Behold!

So, to the fellow fans of Soul Eater, y'all probably - and should - know that today's a special day for one of our charas in the series. As a tribute to his birthday, this is Death the Kid's birthday post by ME! Wahaha!

 Now, originally I wanted to write something, say... a short reader insert with him as the male protagonist. However, since I have yet to finish watching the whole series, I thought I didn't have the right qualifications. So in the end, I went with a fanart. 


It came out nicer than I expected and took me a short amount of time too! ( ´ ∀｀) 
I had this as a reference, by the way. I tried to keep the design as close as the original as possible.

So, Happy Birthday to our favourite double-gunned neurotic! May symmetry reign supreme!

The iPad's fixed! Yay! (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ

Well, actually, it wasn't even broken in the first place - the charger was. So my mother bought an iPhone charger (since the iPad chargers were out of stock) and so our problem was fixed! It charges really slowly though...

With the iPad all charged up, the apps are all good to go. I was bored around noon and got to doodling on the SketchBookPro. I haven't been using it for some time, so it looks weird.

 As you can see, there's a sort of chicken/bird peeking at the bottom of the right-hand side. He's the same little fella from here. Ahaha, I'm having too much fun drawing 'em. Also, yay for rosy cheeks! (o⌒．⌒o)

Wahaha, this date is Shizuo's birthdate. He's also one of my "Watashi no Ai"s in the series so of course I'm gonna have to do something as a tribute to him.

Oh, but then there's also the International Women's day coming up in March. Hmm...

Making the above was a trip filled will a whole lot of bumps on the road. See that small circle-oval thing under his lips, yeah well, the colour pencil lead broke right there and I had to improvise since it wouldn't rub off. And then there's smudges all over the damn page. It was an off day for me - the camera wasn't helping much either. (= A = )

I really, really wish that we had some sort of device in our heads that'll record every single one of our thoughts and then print it out when we need it. Y'know? 

'Cause, most of the time, really really great ideas for posts, fics and other stuff come to me at such random times. And I'm not always prepared every single time so that kinda sucks. Bad.

Or, or maybe if we installed some sort of gadget that allows us to take a photograph of what our eyes see by just blinking once. I mean, say, you want to take a picture of the moon since it looks so big that night. But when you grab your camera and snap a shot, the moon looks like an itty bitty wittle dot. =A=

AND! If you're driving, and you see a really awesome piece of scenery and want to take a picture of it, you could always just blink and BOOM! we have a prize winning picture just like that. 

Sigh, if that was possible, it would be so freaking cool. ( = 3 = )


...I'm really missing that wireless keyboard of Fafrina's. It was awesome! TAT

^I accidentally memorized that song. And yet, I still can't remember anything school related. BEH.


Mom wants me to go to a tuition centre or something. Because next year's the big exam~! Whoop-de-doo~! *sarcastic*

I told her about the tuition centre where Fafrina was going, but she said that it was too expensive. I agree with her. RM600 for 4 subjects?! WHAT THE HELL?! 


If tuition costs THAT much, I'm not going. I'll be my own tutor and prove to my parents that I could pass with flying - no, blasting! - colours if I actually tried. I mean, I'm not a genius or anything like that, but when you think of it, we all have the same brain (-ish). 

The only thing that separates the clever from the stupid is effort.

Which is why I think I'm kinda stewpid. You know why? Because I don't try. I study only when there's an exam, and I don't even do my homework. No, seriously. I hate homework. Since I was 9(-ish). 

I remember one time, when I was 12, I didn't do my homework the entire semester. And then when the exams came, I got last and dropped from the 1st class to the third one. Then, because the teachers didn't know me and my not-doing-homework habit, I started to do my homework. And then when the next exam came, my grades rocket-boosted. 

But honestly, I don't think doing homework is all you need to do to get good grades. 

I mean, revision is the real deal. 

As you probably figured it out, I do not like to study - specifically, the things people expect me to study. So, obviously, I ain't gonna do my revision. If we add that, and the not-doing-homework-ness, we get that I don't ever open the text books at home, therefor, the only way of getting information into my head is by listening to what the teacher is saying in class.

Now, I have a really short attention span and I tend to zone out a lot. So, the information I now possess is very limited. Thus, explains why I failed so terribly when I was 12.  


Geh, I want to sleep now. 


Fafrina's bed was so fucking comfortable. She had a duvet, I tell you, a duvet. My bed don't even have sheets, due to my maid who likes to wash them, but doesn't like to put them back on, and myself who doesn't really care for things so trivial as to that. 


But still, that duvet was awesome. I want. So bad.


She had an air conditioner... Oh my God, a freaking air cond. =A=
Meanwhile, in my house, it's like the deserts. 


I downloaded the SketchBook Express app!! It's so freaking awesome!! :DD
But my ver. has limited access, unlike Fafrina's jailbreak-ed one. For example, mine could only use a maximum of three layers while hers is unlimited.


I want to jailbreak this thing so much. >A<
