All's well then ends well.
Well. Yesterday definitely did not go as planned.
After my exams, the agenda for my day was to have a quick visit to C2AGE at Tropicana Mall to buy things.
However, it turns out that the stalls won't be there until today and tomorrow.
So, dissapointed with myself for not looking for further information, I went and visited Borders and got a few books.
Then we went down again because we saw more cosplayers arriving. Took pictures and then my mind wandered over to the section right near where the cosplayers were hanging. The place sold so many cool stuffs imported straight from the land of the rising sun - Japan.
We. Bought. A. Lot.
Then we ate Papa John's pizza and left. The end.
Though, the day was a bit of a bummer since I didn't get to watch the most anticipated episode of Secret Garden on TV - the one where they switch bodies. Sigh, that on was the most disappointing thing I had this week.
Also, why is it that studying is so haaaaaaaaaard?! TAT
Exams end on Thursday, though. Yaaaaaaaay!

Yesterday I went to Tropicana City Mall for different purposes, and came back home with different choice in merchandise. Huh.
Allow me to explain with presence of graphic evidence.

Visit to Borders~!
I was never quiet as big a fan of books and literature until I became friends with Fafrina. That girl makes me like EVERYTHING she likes. Except for my mother's vanilla cupcakes. ._.
So anyway, we (my mother, sisters and aunt - of course with my presence included) trotted into Borders. Because really, who doesn't like bookshops?
The thing I like about Borders is that they have a wide range of really wonderful and awesome and fantastic books.
Oh, and there was a sale at the time, too!
"But 1, get the 50% off the second!" the sign and sticker said.
Thus, with that, I went out on a search for books with the aid of Fafrina thanks to the WhatsApp in my mother's phone.
Here's what I bought.
My sister bought Hunger Games related books (with the same promotion, so I can't say anything about that):
My youngest sister bought two Geronimo something books. You know, the one about posh rats? I used to read them.. very addicting.
Bought this book for Fafrina!:
Also, here's the unwrapping video of the book. I thought Fafrina might want to check it out.
That is all for now.
Tata.

As coincidental as it may be, Musheeroom wanted this, too. |
I really think that the guy on the left is a goodlookin'. |

Anime Fiesta Kuala Lumpur 2012 :: Loot!
I've used "Anime Fiesta Kuala Lumpur 2012" and "AFKL 2012" too often now that it makes me sick. Ah, but what can I do? The little number of visitors to the event won't write nothing about it and it makes me feel as though I have a duty to report about it since I attended the event myself. Though this is probably the last post related to the event. I'll update more if I find anything interesting. For now, let's just be done with it.

Gingerbread cookies taste A-MA-ZING!
Went to IKEA today. I bought a duvet! (Yay!) And a bunch of other miscellaneous stuffs - for example, this awesome clock!
My mother bought two sets of gingerbread-house-cookie-package (?). The kind that provides you the cookies and you just have to piece them together.
So, when we got home, she opened the sets to check whether or not they were still in one piece. Turns out, they weren't - there were cracks everywhere and the pieces were in more pieces.
She tried to fix it by gluing the pieces back together with icing but failed miserably.
After various attempts, she gave up, and voila! The gingerbread house that was originally intended to be a gift to our neighbor - since they celebrate Christmas - had turned into free cookies for dessert!
Now, I've never tasted gingerbread cookies - heck, I've never tasted pretty much a lot of things made of ginger like say, ginger ale. So, this is my first time to eat them.
They taste so good! I'm not even exaggerating! The best cookies I've had the whole month!
(Maybe that's because I didn't eat any cookies this month?)
I got myself a new favourite cookie flavour! Woot! =w=

Comic Fiesta 2011 :: Loot!
There was so many stalls there that were selling all sorts of things! I was getting dizzy just by looking at them all. ( @ 3 @ )
If I could, I would've bought truckloads of things! But alas, money doesn't grow on a tree in my backyard- nothing grows there, really... >_> so there wasn't much that I could get my hands on.
After browsing all the stalls at least once, we all then decided which specific stall to go and buy the said items that we wanted. Musheeroom bought a really cool Death Note keychain with L on it. No, no. I mean really, L - the letter. I'm not sure how to explain, but it looks really cool.
She also bought two badges - one with Len and the other was the "Keep calm and move on" badge we found from one of the booths that sold Hetalia things.
Meanwhile, the usually stingy cheapskate person that I am suddenly turned into this compulsive greedy shopaholic who doesn't understand the value of cash. Suddenly all the anime merchandise seemed to be more precious than the life of my non-existent wallet. (I really don't own a wallet. Put my cash in this sweater-like phone holder that was originally for my non-existent phone. Yes, I also do not own a handphone.)
Anyways, here's all the things that I bought. Goodbye, O' precious money. Hello new stuffs!
Close up!:
I don't remember how much I spent, but what I'm sure of was that I didn't spend more than 70. BUT! I regret nothing! I'm happy. =w=

More shopping this week!
Today was the second day in a row I went to Sogo in KL. The traffic jam was quite annoying with stupid people not following the rules and just driving like they own the place. I was enraged and complaining out loud but was ignored by everyone in the car.
This time, only four of us went because my father had things to do.
Anyways, we arrived and marched right into the sale zone flooded with fellow humans whose sizes vary. Since both my younger sisters have bought their bags, bottles and whatnot, they had less to work with. Meanwhile I, had to start from square one.
Now, I just love shopping for stationery - they're probably my favourite non-cloth thing to shop for, next to anime merchandise and things like that. BUT! The selections this time was really boring. I loved last year's selections better.
So bla bla bla, my baby sister throws a tantrum despite being 6, bla bla bla, wait for several lifts but turns out all of them were full, bla bla bla.
We went to the women's floor next to buy my tracksuits and undergarments. Another one of my favourites, bras. I admit it, they're probably the only clothing item that I actually enjoy shopping for.Perv.
MOVING ON!
We paid for everything, and went to the lift and waited. There was this banner at the wall with pictures of food that looked so good. After much persuasion, we managed to get mom to go to the food court and eat.
We sat at this thai-like place. I ordered tomyam fried rice and honeydew juice because I thought that the juice would cool me down if the rice turned out to be more than I could handle. The juice arrived moments later and turns out it wasn't the kind of juice that I'd expected.
It was creamy and milky - I dislike milk and creamy things, therefore this was like, torture.
The meal arrived, and we ate. And guess what? It was DELICIOUS.
Though, it was a bit hard to eat because of the heat and spiciness. After a few spoonfuls, I glanced at my cheap ol' wristwatch. It said that it was 8-something.
o_O
Of course I was schocked! It didn't feel that long! I asked my mom to check hers but she disregarded my request and just stated that yeah, it's probably 8. I didn't believe her and started to look for windows or whatever to see if it was dark out. There were no windows.
You could see how little trust I have towards my wristwatch, huh?
Turns out, it was right and I was the one in the wrong. I'm sorry, my wristwatch. =_=
Afterwords we went home and practically collapsed onto the floor as soon as we reached home due to fatigue. What can I say? 'Tis was such a tiring day!

It's that time of the year...
The new year's right around the corner - which means that the new school term is also inching closer by the second. After a whole year of studying and going to school, my things have become worn out - most of them have also seemed to disappear...
Now, to welcome the upcoming new year, to celebrate a fresh new start, and to rob my parent's money to the fullest, it's time to start shopping for school supplies and stuffs!
Nah, I'm just kidding. I'm not gonna rob my parent's moneyokay, maybe just a little.
Today we went to Sogo in KL in hopes to finish our shopping in one go. By we, I mean the whole family. So, all five of us headed out at around 9-ishAM and drove for about 45 mins? Maybe 58 mins at max.
Spent a bit of time at the ATM before splitting up at the 5th floor - where the sale was going on. My father went to the men's floor to buy some new shirts while the rest of us began our shopping.
First, we had to go buy school shoes. I go to a school with uniforms - as do most (if not all) the kids in Malaysia.
Anyways, this part really sucked. I hated this part the most.
For one thing, there were too many people. I know you think that that is to be expected since school's coming up and with the sale going on and whatnot, but no, I don't mean the customers. There were too many people at the sides in case we wanted help.
Now I don't know about you, but in matters involving my feet or any other body parts of mine, I'd rather not really have so many people around bugging me and following me around asking if I needed some help. Also, I have a sort of fear when surrounded by people and not to mention the awkwardness of mine. Plus, they didn't look the least bit approachable!
I, unlike most females I know (Musheeroom), actually hate shopping for shoes. I think it's very annoying how you have to try on a pair and ask for a size and keep trying them on and the agonizing process goes on for hours! It's infuriating! Oh, and yes, Musheeroom loves shoes - mostly cool looking sneakers and stuff like those. Maybe I should get a pair for her birthday next year...
Anyways, I was undeniably fussy on my quest for the perfect pair of school shoes - two pairs, to be exact. I wanted it to be lightweight, and to fit snugly onto my feet without being too tight. I wanted something practical with no annoying designs like those stripes on the side or weird looking shapes and whatnot.
Unfortunately, what I wanted was actually too much to ask. I mean, duh, who wouldn't want a simple pair of shoes that has easy application (is that the right word?). No, complex design and impossible to wear-ness are much more important and will appeal to the market more.
Seriously. I think the fashion trends that are the "rage" in kids within my age range are as annoying and stupid as it can get. It's flashy and unbearably asshole-like - or for girls, just extremely obnoxious. But that's just my opinion. Can't say that everyone who buys them behave like that. IT'S JUST THAT IT'S FRUSTRATING FOR ME.
It's frustrating because I only wish for a simple design that fits the purpose and compliments the shape of my feet. Not some extravagant accessory strapped onto it like there's no tomorrow. TAT
But! After walking for a while and LOTS of patience from my mother, and also a handful of trolls to the helpers, I finally found a pair that fits half of the qualities I listed as the perfect shoe.
Also, thanks to buying the said shoes, I got a really cool USB for just RM12 and something cents.
Afterwards, my father joined us as we headed to the uniform section. My sisters had already chosen their bags and bottles and stuff while I, had only two pair of shoes after two hours since we arrived.
Buying the uniform wasn't much of a hassle compared to the shoe search. I already knew what size I was wearing so the only important thing was to search for a comfortable fabric - which resulted into me buying different brands for the skirt and the baju kurung.
The only bad part of the whole thing was that each time I wanted to ask for my mother's help, she was too busy with my little sisters to even glance at me. And when she did glance at me, she'd glare and scold me, telling me that I was a big girl already and I should be able to help myself.
Well, mother, for your info, I CAN help myself. It's just that to help myself, I need to talk to the helpers. And I don't want to do that!
Managed to figure out a way somehow, but that took me too much time and I ended up only being able to buy two sets of uniforms, two pair of shoes, and a few socks - WHICH, I must tell you, is from Germany. Yay for German socks! :D
My sisters all got their bags, pencil boxes, bottles and bla bla bla, thanks to my mother helping them.
We went for lunch and then went home where I sulked because I was ignored the whole time during the shopping trip.
Mother said that we had to continue shopping tomorrow, but I don't want to go~~ =A=
I want to sleep. I want to finish watching Soul Eater. I want to just laze around the house, doing nothing before the new year starts and I have to take my studies seriously.
But ah well, that's how life is. You can't have everything you want. Tough there are some things you want that can be yours. For example, I want sleep, so I shall have sleep.
Goodnight now. =w=

It's a ball. Obviously. |
...is a ball.
I found it in this basket full of balls (...that sounded wrong...) while we (me, mom, and lil' sisters) were doing the grocery shopping.
I was having a ball (see what I did there? *nudge nudge*) with this toy and all, until my baby sister saw me play with it. She was whining and I didn't know how to shut her up, so in the end, I had to hand the ball over to her. My ball... ;3;
She started playing the ball and ended up hitting a bunch of stuff, so my mom took the ball and shoved it somewhere in the soap section, I think.
Bad move.
That little 6-year old sister of mine wanted my mom to feel her pain, so she started to rebel. But her rebelling wasn't one of those temper tantrums, it was just refusing to walk.
After some time, she gave up and reverted back to her cheery self. With the help of me, of course. And then, when we were at the vegetable section, I lost sight of both of my sisters. They came back moments later with none other than the same ball that I found earlier!
Let's just say that I got excited as well, and we started playing catch. Yeah, I joined the game too, but I did it discreetly. When the ball was thrown my way, I thought I would be able to catch it.
I was wrong.
It rolled off, and I turned around to catch it. There was a person coming my way to sweep the floor, so I kicked the ball to the opposite direction. Then, when I was close enough, I bended down and picked the ball up.
Somewhere along the way up, I lost my gripping, and the ball went flying and hit this guy.
And everything went slow motion.
![]() |
When the ball was on its way to hit his face |
![]() |
...oh shit, it hit him. Run!! |
He didn't expect the ball to come hit him (well, duh) and so, his face when he had this really ... how should I say this... weird face...? Lol.
I managed to run away with the ball, and yes, I said "I'm sorry".
I hope they heard it.
He looked like he was younger than me. The guy was with a whole bunch of women, probably his sisters, or aunts or whatever. I'm pretty sure they saw what happened too. I took a peek at them and they looked pretty amused with what just happened.
I can't stop replaying it in my head.
As much as I feel bad about this, I can't help but laugh. It's hysterical!
I can't even...

Shopping trip :: Part 1 ::
Distractions here, distractions there. I'm starting to think that I might never be able to write about what I actually want to write anytime soon.
/epic fail.
(Ps. I wrote this on Monday. I just forgot to post it )
Today was supposed to be the day I get to post all those little stories that's been piling up in my head for the past few days because I got a day off from *cough* skipped *cough* school. But then my mom asked me to help her with her shopping. On a MONDAY! I don't really get why she wasn't that freaked out about the fact that I didn't go to school today, but well, she wasn't.
So there!
The shopping trip wasn’t really all that awesome, until…
