Day 1: Draw a picture of yourself
Here's what I doodled:
Alright, so it's not a realistic portrait, but hey, it gives you a clue of what I look like. I used to have really long, wavy hair, but I cut it earlier this year as a symbol of letting go of what happened in the past- that I soon regret doing. So now, I have shoulder-length hair that's far more straighter than it had been last time.
As you can see, my face is round, and my hair is tied into a ponytail - which is my usual hairdo (see, I'm no good at hair styling) when at home. I wear a hijab outside, though.

Holidays are ending :[
The new semester's going to begin this Monday. I'm quite crestfallen that it's ending too quickly, but I'm anxious to begin again - this time, I'm determined to not speak to anyone once the teacher starts talking. That means you too, Fafrina. ( = 3 = )
Hey, desperate times calls for desperate measures. I'm not very good at splitting my already short attention span, so it's important I make sure I understand each subject.
My grandparents are in the house - they're here to look after me and my sister since my mom got a new job and the maid's gone. I'm feeling a bit guilty for neglecting my duties to entertain their time, but what can I do? I'm getting more and more busy each passing day as I cram all sorts of info into my brain.
Yes, I'm finally starting to follow my study schedule. I'm hoping with time and great discipline, I would be able to catch up to where the smart students are. That also means you too, Fafrina. Musheeroom, if you're reading, I'm taking up your mom's challenge at being your competition in the academics field. I'll prove to be a potent opponent, I'll make sure of that so that one day, we could be sent of to Japan on the school exchange program.
Studying proves to be much easier when there's nothing to distract or pressure me. I dislike when people poke and force me to go read a book, so when I have the freedom of choice to study by my own will, it's much less of a burden. Also, a clean environment helps a lot.
Speaking of cleaning, I'm almost done with the cleaning of my room - which is quiet a huge surprise. Thanks to new storage space, I'm able to keep all my prized possessions without having it clutter my room.
Also! I'm taking up the Drawing Challenge from here.

No Internet all day
The computer in my house is going whack. So's the Internet connection.
So today, I mainly doodled, read and wrote my second Hetalia fanfic. (Not finished yet, though! ><)
Here are the lazy sketches. I'm getting more used to the pen, so it looks better than my previous doodles.
I made a more wild-haired version of the girl here:
Which version do you like better?

Back from Penang!
I'm no longer sick! YAY!
Also, I'm back from a wonderful 2-day trip to Penang. At first, I didn't want my fever to go away because I didn't want to go (I don't like leaving the house much ><), but now it has come to me that it was very lucky of me to have gone. There were so many amazing things I get to experience, sights I was able to hear, foods I was able to eat. In short, I regret nothing.
I'll try hard to squeeze in blogging time in the next few days, but I'll tell you here, it's going to be very hard. For one thing, my mother's bent on cleaning up the old house. And another, I'm beginning to realize that I've been taking my studies too lightly from the moment I ever stepped into high school. I need to be more focused.
Also, because there's problems with my netbook, I am unable to post using it. That leaves me to no choice other than to suck up to my sisters and beg for a few minutes of Internet time.
Siiigh. This is the life of a teenage blogger. This is the life of a closet fangirl.
See ya!

My views! :: Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
As promised.
(Source: Link)
I watched the movie with my sister the past Thursday. She borrowed the DVD from her friend who urged her to watch due to my sister's (false) claims of loving horror movies (because I know she's a scaredy cat) .
So! Here's what I think of the movie.

All's well then ends well.
Well. Yesterday definitely did not go as planned.
After my exams, the agenda for my day was to have a quick visit to C2AGE at Tropicana Mall to buy things.
However, it turns out that the stalls won't be there until today and tomorrow.
So, dissapointed with myself for not looking for further information, I went and visited Borders and got a few books.
Then we went down again because we saw more cosplayers arriving. Took pictures and then my mind wandered over to the section right near where the cosplayers were hanging. The place sold so many cool stuffs imported straight from the land of the rising sun - Japan.
We. Bought. A. Lot.
Then we ate Papa John's pizza and left. The end.
Though, the day was a bit of a bummer since I didn't get to watch the most anticipated episode of Secret Garden on TV - the one where they switch bodies. Sigh, that on was the most disappointing thing I had this week.
Also, why is it that studying is so haaaaaaaaaard?! TAT
Exams end on Thursday, though. Yaaaaaaaay!

It kills a little bit of me every time. |

Japanese snacks.
Yesterday I went to Tropicana City Mall for different purposes, and came back home with different choice in merchandise. Huh.
Allow me to explain with presence of graphic evidence.

Visit to Borders~!
I was never quiet as big a fan of books and literature until I became friends with Fafrina. That girl makes me like EVERYTHING she likes. Except for my mother's vanilla cupcakes. ._.
So anyway, we (my mother, sisters and aunt - of course with my presence included) trotted into Borders. Because really, who doesn't like bookshops?
The thing I like about Borders is that they have a wide range of really wonderful and awesome and fantastic books.
Oh, and there was a sale at the time, too!
"But 1, get the 50% off the second!" the sign and sticker said.
Thus, with that, I went out on a search for books with the aid of Fafrina thanks to the WhatsApp in my mother's phone.
Here's what I bought.
My sister bought Hunger Games related books (with the same promotion, so I can't say anything about that):
My youngest sister bought two Geronimo something books. You know, the one about posh rats? I used to read them.. very addicting.
Bought this book for Fafrina!:
Also, here's the unwrapping video of the book. I thought Fafrina might want to check it out.
That is all for now.
Tata.

Great books = priceless. |
As coincidental as it may be, Musheeroom wanted this, too. |
I really think that the guy on the left is a goodlookin'. |

C2AGE 2012 - Friday, 18th May 2012.
I visited C2AGE held at Tropicana mall yesterday to meet the person who made the awesome Russia badge I bought at last year's CF - the one I lost.
This one. |
And on that stage was a person with a blond wig moving about and lip-syncing. I'm almost certain that it was Satsuki (Not Natsu because he looked more... powerful) from UtaPri.
Very bad close-up shot I got, but it was too late; he was already headed down stage. |
I apologize for bad shots. You know how bad I am with a camera! ><;
Moving on, the next person up stage was another cosplayer, but with a red wig. As if the colour of the wig and the upbeat energy the person had was not enough, I got another hint that the person was cosplaying I think it was.
The stereo blasted a song I knew all to well even with me only playing it twice.
Brand New Melody.
Otoya Ittoki.
Utapri.
My guesses of who these people portrayed were proven right when we stumbled across these:
You know how shy I am to ask for pictures, don't you? So in the end, I only took pictures from afar. >//<
The mingling cosplayers. |
Taking pictures. Like a |
Pedo-bear spam!:
Why do I keep thinking these two would make the best of friends? Pedo-bear and the Joker? |
Cosplayers spam!:
Prettiest Len ever! |
I think this is the most loveliest and elegant Miku cosplay I've seen live. |
Beautiful! (^^)b |
I'm thinking of going again this Sunday. Anyone with me?
