First Time :: Cooking!! :: Part [1]

Well, specifically speaking, this was my first time cooking a REAL DISH.

My definition of a REAL DISH is:
Something that contains MEAT, VEGGIES, and some CARBOHYDRATES.

I've cooked simple things like fried eggs, cup noodles, fried rice (the really plain one), frozen sausages, toast, and I'm real good at making desserts and drinks.

But never! Never in my life have I cooked a REAL DISH.

In school, there's this subject that covers topics similar to those in subjects in Home Ec. To pass the grade, we have to pass this subject, along with other subjects. (Duh)

In order to pass this subject, we need to complete a whole bunch of different tests. Cooking was one of them.

This cooking activity needs to be done in groups.
So, me and my two besties were already set.

Oh, but wait!

"Each group needs to have at least a male and a female in it," says the teacher.

So basically, we were screwed.

But then comes my second cousin to the rescue.
He practically just forced himself into the group. Just like that. And no one noticed!
Sly bastard.

After discussing (arguing) about this and that, and what we should cook, and whatnot, we decided to cook spaghetti carbonara.
I  really did not want to cook carbonara.
Why?
Well, because I really have this thing against creamy, milky, white stuff.
Whatever thing we cook, will end up as our lunch for the day.
So that's one more reason why I was really against cooking the dish.

But I couldn't put up much of a fight because I lost the argument.
I lost in Rock, Paper, Scissors.

TBC...
