Sorry, dude!!

This...

It's a ball. Obviously.
 ...is a ball.

I found it in this basket full of balls (...that sounded wrong...) while we (me, mom, and lil' sisters) were doing the grocery shopping.

I was having a ball (see what I did there? *nudge nudge*) with this toy and all, until my baby sister saw me play with it. She was whining and I didn't know how to shut her up, so in the end, I had to hand the ball over to her. My ball... ;3;

She started playing the ball and ended up hitting a bunch of stuff, so my mom took the ball and shoved it somewhere in the soap section, I think.

Bad move.

That little 6-year old sister of mine wanted my mom to feel her pain, so she started to rebel. But her rebelling wasn't one of those temper tantrums, it was just refusing to walk.
After some time, she gave up and reverted back to her cheery self. With the help of me, of course. And then, when we were at the vegetable section, I lost sight of both of my sisters. They came back moments later with none other than the same ball that I found earlier!

Let's just say that I got excited as well, and we started playing catch. Yeah, I joined the game too, but I did it discreetly. When the ball was thrown my way, I thought I would be able to catch it.

I was wrong.

It rolled off, and I turned around to catch it. There was a person coming my way to sweep the floor, so I kicked the ball to the opposite direction. Then, when I was close enough, I bended down and picked the ball up.

Somewhere along the way up, I lost my gripping, and the ball went flying and hit this guy.
And everything went slow motion.

When the ball was on its way to hit his face
...oh shit, it hit him. Run!!

He didn't expect the ball to come hit him (well, duh) and so, his face when he had this really ... how should I say this... weird face...? Lol.

I managed to run away with the ball, and yes, I said "I'm sorry".
I hope they heard it.

He looked like he was younger than me. The guy was with a whole bunch of women, probably his sisters, or aunts or whatever. I'm pretty sure they saw what happened too. I took a peek at them and they looked pretty amused with what just happened.
I can't stop replaying it in my head.
As much as I feel bad about this, I can't help but laugh. It's hysterical!
I can't even...

-END-

Poor kid...
