Synopsis of April 2012!

I've never been this drained and exhausted as I have been in this month.

This was the month where the  sports activities took place, school projects meet their deadlines and where I'm torn between caring and entirely not giving a damn.

This was the month where weeks were rough, yet days were vapid.

This was the month of April.

TWINKLE IS OUT!

Guys! Guys! Guys! TWINKLE IS OUT!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

I checked!

First of all, sorry for not posting decent posts in decades... ><

And second of all, TWINKLE IS OUT!!
But what is twinkle, actually?

April's ending!

Sigh, it's been a full week since I've written anything. I afraid my blogging skills might rust at this pace.. -.-

This week was full of sporting events and plenty of other activities for me.

We had our road-run practice on Wednesday and yesterday was the real deal. I didn't run, though. But what I DID do was help out at my club's stand. We sold two types of drinks (Ocean Blue - which was basically a mix of asam boi, lemons, and blue food colouring - and another drink which contained soya, bandung and cincau), keropok lekor and popias.

I think Ocean Blue was the culprit to what made my stomach so sick today. =A=

But! All went well yesterday. We sold everything! Including the 4 batches of our blue concoction. I got to play with this cute little boy while chilling around and selling things with a classmate and my clubmate. The fact that I didn't have to run a total of 5 kilometers was just a bonus.

Got into a fight with Musheeroom... which would be considered normal.. but not this time.
It's just that, I know I was wrong - and I admitted it! But she was screaming in my face, and I was confused and mad because of that, so I screamed at her, too, in the midst of the rainfall and crowd bustling for shelter. I don't handle things well when anyone yells or raises their voices with me. It's my weakness - unfortunately.

Now I'm tired emotionally and physically; emotionally, because of familial problems and because I was bothered by the fight with Musheeroom and a way to say "I'm sorry" without seeming stiff or awkward. Because I know that what I did was stupid, but at the same time, I feel somewhat a mixture of angering grief that she had to be so rough about it. I'm sorry, dammit!!

Huuh... whatever. Oh, and physically since I spent the entire day making triangle bases for the 3D origami piece that I'm working on. Planning on having it as part of the gubahan project that was subjected by my new uniformed units.

Ah, which reminds me! I dropped out of the fire brigade because I was so sick and tired of the drills we had to practice at EVERY SINGLE MEET and the fact that there was no other engaging activities other than burn in the sunlight.

But that's not the best part yet.

Even though I quit the brigade because I hate the drills, I joined my sport's team's marching team. WHAT.

From my last experience with the school's marching team - which I had acquired during my first year of high school - it's not very different from the drills I learn while in the fire brigade. So, why?!

Oh, and did I mention the fire brigade teacher is also the teacher for my sport's team, too?

Speaking of sports, the winner of the road run was team Jupiter - which is represented by the colour green.

Mars - Red. Mercury - Yellow. And finally, mine: Earth - Blue.

The few things that I like about being in the blue team is that the shirt is slimming. And I don't have to wear a singlet - unlike members of the Yellow team, aka, Fafrina. Muhaha.

Tomorrow's a school day. I haven't been to school for lessons since Wednesday.

Didn't attend on Thurday because I had to help my mother translate her part of the apple product called Siri.. or something? Meh, I don't know.

Spent the entire day, from the peak of dawn to near Midnight sitting in front of the computer screen, typing away like a zombie slave.

And then I convinced my mother I was in dire need of rest on Friday which resulted to my absence. Ehe.

Later that Friday, I went for a visit to the TTDI pasar malam with Fafrina, Musheeroom and a classmate of mine and her brother. We had a surprisingly great time. SURPRISINGLY. Fafrina gave me lots of food.. heheh. ( =w= )

Anyways, I'm off to complete the swan origami piece. And make something for my fungian-nicknamed friend. And do something about my stomach problems. And finish reading a piece of writing by a classmate of mine. And sleep. And hope that I will live another day tomorrow. And bye-bye.

Who broke the iPad?

This week ended in fair bliss.

E----xcept for the fact that I got an injection, was forced to run a whole field in a long skirt, lost my pencil case and found out that the iPad was broken.

But other than that, it's all fine and dandy.

Current interests.

I got home unexpectedly late. So this is the last post of the day. I'm saving the review for Saturday. (^v^)b

It is known that I am somewhat of an otaku to some degree. I like manga and anime. However, due to this year being my exam year, I haven't visited mangafox in months. But today, because I had time to spare today, I made a quick trip to the site and found myself an interesting series.

It's a webtoon called, 'Dear Only You Don't Know'. Up to now, there's only 2 chapters translated. But so far so good. Recommended for those in dire need of something to lighten up their day.

Off the Internet, I have another thing to distract my mind from stresses of the real world. Reading. Since I've finished the Hunger Games trilogy, I started to read another book by Judith McNaught, Something Wonderful. It's going great, and I recommend it to historical romance lovers.

Speaking of reading, I have some sort of problem. When I read a series, my monologue and writing style tends to be shaped after the book I read. So when I read another book, my writing style alters into a different one halfway and it gets messy. For example, there's this piece I'm working on while I was still reading the hunger Games trilogy. But when I finished and started reading Judith McNaught's piece of fiction, I find that the aura has changed into something similar to what McNaught did. When will I ever find consistency?!

Oh, back to the topic. The only other new interest that I've picked up recently is origami. I've never had nimble hands or fine craftsmanship, but for some reason, I just love folding and creasing papers into the art of origami. It calms my being and makes me feel comfortable. As proof, I've already made close to ten of the same pieces repeatedly. I think it's my new self-relieving technique.

Anyways, it's lights off now. As much as I'd hate to let the night pass, I need my rest. It's a pity to let this precious free time I have now be used to sleep and then morning will come and sweep me off to another mundane day at school... But as I've said before and will continue saying again, c'est la vie.

Goodnight. [end]

Anime Fiesta Kuala Lumpur 2012 :: Loot!

I've used "Anime Fiesta Kuala Lumpur 2012" and "AFKL 2012" too often now that it makes me sick. Ah, but what can I do? The little number of visitors to the event won't write nothing about it and it makes me feel as though I have a duty to report about it since I attended the event myself. Though this is probably the last post related to the event. I'll update more if I find anything interesting. For now, let's just be done with it.

Yay for unexpected holidays!

Today's a Wednesday, so naturally, school should be where I'm at. But! Thanks to a certain event that I'm not sure of in detail, everyone gets a day off today. \(^o^)/

Even so, I cannot be blinded by this short moment of rest since there's still a lot of things to do.

For example, I have to finish writing an essay for my History project, visit the nearest pasar malam (In English, night market, I think..) and then create a folio based on the study of various things linked to said visit, finish studying the Form 1 syllabus and start doing my revision on the Form 2 and 3 syllabus.

Then we have the Merentas Desa event (cross-country running - although, we only run for about 5kilometers at max) that I would gladly volunteer not to enter and instead, work at my club's stall. We haven't figured out exactly what to sell, but I'm liking the idea of chicken popcorn and lots and lots of products made from fresh watermelons.

And not to mention the May test which is on the 7th and the PMR trial around June. @A@

Can you believe how fast this year is going? It's already near mid-April! (」゜ロ゜)」

Anyways, if you live in Malaysia, take today to cool off and just relax for a bit. Say, read a book, watch a movie, or do absolutely nothing at all. And if you're not in Malaysia, c'est la vie, I guess.

I'm off to join the family for a lunch out. Be back by this evening to write posts on AFKL loot, a review, and maybe first impression rant on something. Bye~

Anime Fiesta Kuala Lumpur 2012

Right, so here's the awaited post on my trip to the so-called "largest anime event ever!"
Didn't take as much pictures as I did at last year's CF, but I managed to capture enough to make a post of it. Anyways, enjoy?

Miss me?

Quick post here. Turns out I could blog with the ipad. Who knew? O_O

Anyways, a thousand apologies for my absence. School's real tough at the moment with a whole lot going on. In fact, I'm actually attending the sports meet that I've never particularly likd eversince... forever? And yes, I am not a sports person and will most likely never be. -.-

Went to Fafrina's house as planned on Tuesday, and going there again tomorrow since our folio is still not finished. *sighs* Being a student never is easy, huh.

Oh, and to -ying-, thank you very much! You're my first ever follower and that makes me feel really happy and proud. I'll try my best to make time for blogging and post often! :)

More posts will be posted on Saturday, so please look forward to it. That is all for now, I'm off to finish my readings. Bye!

Anime Fiesta Kuala Lumpur - so, what happened?

So in the end, despite all those rumours about it not existing, the event really did happen. This is just sorta like a preview post since I'm not gonna get the pictures from Fafrina until after Tuesday, so please be patient.

The event was supposed to be held at KLCC, with double the number of halls that Comic Fiesta 2011 had. However, it was said that due to a few problems, the venue was changed to Berjaya Times Square, on the 14th floor, with a hall about a quarter of what was promised.

The promised goodie bags that were supposed to be handed to each of the SuperPass holders were said to be mailed to their homes instead of given on the spot due to some printing problems and whatnot. Not sure whether I should be looking out for the packages or save myself from the disappointment of not having them.

Although I sound really pessimistic about the whole deal, I must admit, there were some really awesome things that I got from this experience. I mean, for one thing, I got to meet Darell Guilbeau. He was a really awesome person who was also very nice. It was an honor to have been his helper, be it for a very short time. He's very talented and funny, too. Gave me a DRRR post card, which was the best thing that ever happened to me this year. I couldn't thank him enough!

Went today (the second day), but he wasn't there this time. Wonder why...

And then there was this big booth that was all about NEWS, a really awesome Jpop group who makes really great songs and has really hawt/cute members. I love that there are mini-groups inside of the group. For example, Tegomass is really cool (I mainly love them because they sang Kimi+Boku=Love, which was the OP for LoveCom).

You know what, I'll just end it here. Won't want to give spoilers for the actual post with pictures that I'll post sometime soon. Meanwhile, I gotta go digging in Wikipedia for info on Prussia. I'm doing my BM Oral test about it and I'm pretty clueless on some of its basic history. =_=
